Autumn
‘Foraged and Found’ is a wreath inspired by the treasures discovered during a garden tidy and woodland walk near ‘The Priory’ near my home in North London. Capturing the essence of the Autumn season, there's an abundance of foliage, nuts and berries that have fallen as nature transitions into the winter months.
The shades in the colour palette are a stunning array of warm golds, soft brown, deep shades of green and rusty reds…a vibrant celebration of the rich hues marking the end of the year!
Another ‘Foraged and Found’ wreath was inspired inspired by nature from a walk. Crafted on a moss ring, a diverse collection of foraged foliage was collected, including yew, olive, ivy, beech leaves. The arrangement is enriched using bracken, achillea, horse chestnuts, acorns, beech nut shells, rose hips and hawthorn berries.
This riot of colour celebrates the vibrant hues of the changing seasons, marking the end of the year, as we gracefully transition into the winter months.
Creating a soft textural wreath in shades of warm reds, olive greens and damson tones for my clients home, was a delight to create. The wreath features a thoughtful selection of materials, both foriaged and bought from the market, including ivy flowers, acorn leaves, olive, red eucalyptus, bracken, red berries, rose hips, hydrangea and grasses.
Carefully arranging the various components, helped to produce this stunning wreath to adorn the front door, creating a warm seasonal welcome.
