Spring

‘Pretty and Pink’ was the title I gave this beautiful wreath to celebrate Mothers Day and the Spring season. The wreath was constructed using a traditional method of moss tied to a copper ring, with greenery collected from the garden and the flower market, including yew, eucalyptus, pittosporum, pussy willow, olive and black ivy berries.

To create the ‘wow’ factor, the wreath was adorned with a tonal selection of 'Pink' flowers, showcasing spray roses, ranunculus, chrysanthemums, carnations, wax flower and hypericum berries, creating a harmonious and nature-inspired arrangement.

A fresh floral door wreath, symbolising new life, new beginnings and fresh growth for the year ahead, allowed me to create a stunning wreath for Easter. Using fresh moss tied on a copper ring, allowed a variety of evergreens to embellish the wreath base.

Greenery including yew, leyland cypress, olive, pittosporum & elaeagnus, created a textural foundation. Spray roses, caramel pink carnations, pink hypericum berries & cytisus, complemented the greenery, with lime green hellebore flowers, adding zest to the decoration. Finally eggshells and feathers embellished the wreath for that extra seasonal touch.
